Maui Trade Dollars (Hawaii)
Maui Trade Dollars are issued by the Maui Trade Dollar Association. Each year since 1992 a new and dramatic wildlife and or aquatic design has been featured showcasing the best The Pacific Ocean has to offer. The wonderful part about these trade dollars is that the proceeds go directly to the Maui Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation. Each year features a different mintage amount to date ranging from 90,000-135,000 coins. Our offering is the cupro-nickel versions. Each coin features the inscription in Hawaiian, on the obverse, "Maui NO KA OI" or "MAUI IS BEST"
DISNEY DOLLARS
This is the Disney Store Issued Dollars which has been discontinued by The Walt Disney Company effective, September 2009.
This issue had the alpha prefix letter of "T". Now you will only be able to buy a gift card at all Disney Stores. There is even some future talk that Disney may discontinue the Disney World and DisneyLand Dollar issues. This is unconfirmed at this time. This is a small holding I have left and when they are gone, they are gooooooone!
